You will lose your mind in rescue...
But you will find your soul.

Why I Rescue

Capturing the light and love that a rescue animal has within them is my first and strongest passion. Being able to use my lens to capture the perfect snapshots of their unique personality to help find them their forever home... there are no words.

It's an honor to say the least.

All of my pack (there are 4!) are rescue dogs.

#AdoptDontShop! There is nothing more rewarding then giving a voice to the voiceless. By giving these abandoned sweethearts a professional photo to share, this will give them an immensely greater chance to get adopted. This is because with my professional photos potential adopters get to see the TRUE spirit of the dog.

As you can tell I am a huge advocate of adoption! But no matter what…  one of the most important thing in life is to love, kiss, and hold your furbabies for as long as you can. So, buy the extra dog toy, spoil them with treats, and take your fur baby on the trip. We outlive our best furry friends - So every second spent with them is priceless. So book the photo session to capture all those truly special moments and make them last a lifetime.

The Rescues

Mandaluyong Animal Shelter
(MAS Manila, Philippines)

MAS is a small informal group of ordinary citizens who try to help and ask the public for help, specifically for the dogs impounded at the Mandaluyong dog pound.

These "ordinary" citizens are some of the most incredible people I have ever met. It is a privilege to know and call these selfless people, my friends.

Donating supplies, time, money, photography, and more - I can't wait to head back to Manila, Philippines, and physically be present to help out again.

Funds go a long way in Manila, and the only kindness these wonderful dogs know is from the MAS volunteers when they are there. Adoption and Donations can be made by visiting and messaging their Facebook page by clicking the logo below.

Marley's Mutts
(Camp Golden Years)

Marley’s Mutts is a non-profit organization that rescues, rehabilitates, trains and re-homes death row dogs from Kern County’s high-kill animal shelters.

In addition, they utilize the rescued dogs to transform people’s lives through a program called Pawsitive Change.

Through the power of the human-canine bond, they empower dogs and people to live healthy, happy and productive lives.

They have a small and older dog camp on their ranch as well called Camp Golden Years! I volunteer my time and drive the 6 hours because I truly believe in the programs that Zach Skow and his family have created!

Last Chance at Life
All Breed Rescue & Adoption

Last Chance at Life, also known as LCAL, is one of my favorite rescues in southern California. I am blessed to have worked with them for 5+ years now! I volunteer my time and photography to LCAL because of their relentless hard work to raise money for medical and behavioral needs dogs. Their work to find these disregarded animals love, health and happiness is inspiring. These dogs would have otherwise been put down without #TeamLCAL.

Bohol Animal Rescue & Kindness
(BARK Bohol, Philippines)

The genuinely selfless, hard-working, incredible people who give all their time, energy, funds, and more to these dogs are some of the most amazing people I have ever met. I am truly fortunate to have been able to head to the island of Bohol, Philippines, and see the fantastic work they do, caring for over 300 dogs daily.

Having raised funds here in the states, we were able to help support a spay and neuter clinic along with donated rabies vaccinations by their government. Watching the astounding collaboration BARK created with the government and their relentless fight on behalf of the stray dogs on the island is inspiring.

Volunteering my time, photography, and funds is the least I could do. Literally - $9 USD can feed a dog for a month at BARK!

The Barking Lot
(All Breed Rescue & Adoption)

This San Diego-based non-profit has resident barkers from all over the world. The Barking Lot started saving dogs from the Southern California area but soon began to save dogs from Mexico, Thailand, and more! Being partnered with the Soi Dog Foundation and rescuing dogs from the horrific meat trade - The Barking Lot has compiled my love for rescue, compassion, and worldwide support of all those fighting against animal cruelty.

Therefore, I am so honored to volunteer my time to photograph their adoptable dogs and their events. It truly doesn't get more remarkable than teamwork striving for a better world. If you want to join their team or adopt one of these incredible dogs, please click on their logo below.

Save the Laguna
Pit Bulls Sanctuary

(CARA Welfare Philippines)

In March 2012, an estimated 230 pit bulls were rescued from a dog-fighting syndicate operating in Laguna. Since their rescue, 170 pit bulls survived the horrible conditions. CARA Welfare Philippines (Compassion And Responsibility for Animals) and IRO (Island Rescue Organization) have been at the forefront of taking care of the pit bulls since their rescue.

Raising funds for the Laguna Pit Bulls was an honor. Volunteering our time to photograph, walk, bathe, feed, and even clean was an incredible experience. Two friends and I were able to bring over 200 Kongs for these sweet dogs to play with, and to see their joy was immeasurable.

Pit Bulls are wondrous, goofy, precious little beings and don't deserve the horrible stigma they have. #DontBullyMyBreed

Animal Synergy
(For Special Needs Animals)

Synergy is a non-profit in Southern California, focusing on helping animals with special medical needs when other rescues can't do so.

Dogs like Murphy Brown Moon Shadow (above), who would otherwise be euthanized, get to live their life to the fullest because of Synergy Rescue. They raise funds for rehabilitation and medical services, along with things like custom made wheelchairs to make the world an explorable place again for their animals!

Volunteering my time and photography to Synergy Rescue is an incredible experience. I get to show the world that dogs with medical needs are still full of life and ready to be adopted!
